In the year 1976, the founder of the company Mr. M. S. Patel ventured into manufacturing of Crankshaft & Connecting Rod under “GICO” brand for IC Diesel Engine and supplied to Domenstic and Export Markets. After achieving a reputed name & fame as manufacture of quality products, later in 1982 Mr. Patel and his team diversified into manufacturing of sheet metal forming machine like Press Brake, Shearing Machine, Shaping Machine, and Power Press, Lathe Machine under “VIMEX” Brand with convential design features.

Mr. C. M. Patel & S. M. Patel sons of Mr. M. S. Patel joined the family business at a very young age and were entrusted with lot of responsibilities. By this time the indian economy had started to open up with relaxed policy for domestic & international products resulting in stiff competition. The company then identified to upgrade the existing conventional model’s with Hydraulic, Pneumatic, NC & CNC features and introduced 3 & 4 Roll Hydraulic Plate Bending Machine with PLC control, Deep Draw Press &”H” type Hydraulic Press in Sheet Metal Forming Machinery range. Needless to mention the great support we received from our domestic customers which enabled us to face the new challenges with confident and eventually decided to cater the international market with our “VIMEX” machinery. From 1992 to till March 2018 we have successfully installed more then 2700+ “VIMEX” machinery in countries like UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia. Senegal, South Africa, Yemen.

“VIMEX” is very passionate to further expand it’s business activity by way of developing latest & advanced technology of Sheet Metal Forming Machinery and spread their wings across Latin America, Asian, Saarc, East & West African Countries
